Cream Ostrich Eggshell Stars Tea Light
To the San people, ostrich eggs symbolized good fortune. In their zero-waste way of life, eggs were foraged, eaten as nutritious food, and used to carry water. Only once broken were the shards made into beads.
This safari-chic tea light is handcrafted by an expert carver using ostrich eggs from the Klein Karoo in South Africa, the world’s ostrich capital. The contemporary design takes several hours to complete.
